This past weekend found the four of us traveling to Georgetown, TX for Criticon – a gathering hosted by Scott Morris of Passport Games Studio intended as a weekend of gaming and testing prototypes. And we had a blast! Many games were played, many friends were made, and lots of fun was had. Since pictures are (supposedly) worth a thousand words, I thought we’d share some of our time there for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks so much to Scott and his family for hosting this event. They were so hospitable and generous.
Many games were played.
We got to visit some of Austin’s gaming shops including the Dragon’s Lair and the Emerald Tavern Games & Cafe. Both were awesome! We also ate at Baker Street Pub and Grill. The Pub visited a pub! If we ever open up a gaming cafe it will look like this.
